Welcome to the Florida Collectors Association
The Florida Collectors Association (FCA) is a trade association of professional debt collectors with offices in Florida. The FCA holds an annual conference each year for its members where they can network with peers and share information.
Members of the FCA hold mandatory dual membership in ACA International, the "Association of Credit and Collection Professionals", which provides a wide range of industry-specific information and resources needed to stay compliant, train your staff to perform at their peak, and enhance your agency's bottom line.
As the demands of federal and state laws and regulations increase, agencies must increase their understanding. FCA offers members the education and information to assure compliance through legislative updates, and practical best practices. FCA members must stay informed and in compliance with laws and legislative updates. Information regarding the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) are available through this website.
FCA Gives Back to Junior Achievement
Many thanks to FCA’s 2023 conference participants for showcasing their commitment to giving back to the community and successful raising $2,070 for Junior Achievement's 3DE program. Immediate Past President, David Kelley, recently presented Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay’s Executive Director, Richard George, and Director of the 3DE Program, Christina Roberts with a check. Thanks to all who participated in the fundraiser!
